The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 339

Tracy pursed her lips. At first, she wanted to ask, "What the hell are you talking about?"

But just as she was about to say that, she changed her mind. "Alright. I'll borrow him as a beauty supplement. Ha ha ha..."

After that, she felt the heat rising to her cheeks. She covered up her embarrassment with her laughter.

Rachel glanced at her and said, "Oh, I just remembered that you've never felt the touch of a man before. You aren't seriously considering it, are you?"

She'd actually hit the nail right on the head. Tracy said crossly, "You were the one who's been touched by a man and sitting here talking about doing it again. Now, you're making pointed jabs at me. We promised each other that we'd be spinsters together, but you've changed!"

Just as she said that, a voice sounded at the door. "Who's changed?"

Tracy looked up, seeing Matthew. She blushed even harder and said, "You have!"

Matthew looked at Rachel. "What's going on?"

Rachel said with a reddened face, "It's girl's talk. You wouldn't understand. Didn't you say you wanted to talk about investing in the research institute today? I've been waiting for ages. Why are you just getting here?"

Matthew frowned. "Since when did I say that we would talk about it today? You asked for the day off last night. I even told Tracy to help you look after the company. Have you misremembered something?" When Rachel thought of last night, her face grew excruciatingly hot.

She was tired yesterday, but after a good night's sleep, she felt like a completely new person. She was like a plant that had just been watered, bouncing back even livelier than before.

She felt like she had recovered, so she came to the company to work. But now, Matthew's question was putting her on the spot.

"Let's not talk about all that. Let's talk about the research institute.

"We need to choose a location, hire employees, and hire a manager to handle all of those employees. These all require manpower. It's even more important than the investment." Matthew nodded. If they wanted to make a profit off the project, they would have to rely on their employees. However, firstly, they would need a manager.

"What do you suggest?"

Rachel smiled at Matthew. "You've been slaving away as my driver all this time. Why don't you do it?"

Matthew considered it. He could, and it would make things easier for himself, but that would mean that Rachel wouldn't have a driver anymore.

Most importantly, they had just improved their relationship. Would they grow distant if he dealt with the clinic more?

As he pondered the idea, Rachel asked, "Why? Do you not want to do it? In that case, Tracy can do it."

Tracy was stunned but perked up at once. "Alright. You two have been getting along really well lately. I wouldn't like to be the third wheel."

Matthew had wanted to say

something, but Tracy's words made him blush. She was the biggest third wheel there ever was to exist. She even witnessed him doing it with Rachel.

He swallowed his words. "Fine."

Rachel seemed to have read his

mind. "That would make Tracy the president, and you'd be her

assistant. Just to make things clear, the assigned roles are not based on your capabilities. Don't take

it

personally."

After saying all that, she felt

surprised by her own explanation. Before this, she was stone cold. She wouldn't be as considerate of

Matthew as she was right now.

She felt like a trad wife, always considering her man's feelings. It was a foreign feeling to her. She would never have done this before.noveldrama

She couldn't help wondering if this was happening because she had been dominated by Matthew last night. Was she beginning to protect his dignity now? Matthew nodded. She was doing well. He still had to complete his mentor's task, so he really didn't have the time to spend on the research institute. "That works." Then, he said half-jokingly to Tracy, "I'll be your underling from now on, Ms. Lauder. Please be nice to me."

Tracy's eyes were gleaming mischievously. "You're my underling now. You'd better watch out. I'm not as easy to mess around with as Rachel." Rachel smiled, which made her as radiant as a rose in a bouquet of daisies under the sun.
