Nora

Chapter 77

Chapter 77:.

Someone more professional than her?” scoffed Whitney.

With a confident, arrogant look on her face, she scoffed, “Can you find anyone more professional than me in America?”

Miss Lynn tugged on Nora’s sleeve and said, “Miss Smith, the competition Miss Lowe entered was the Blackpool Dance Festival. It’s a world-class international ballroom dance competition…. Miss Lowe has founded a dance academy in New York that specializes in teaching gifted students in this art, and there are scores of people who want her guidance. She has great authority in the dancing circle.”

Then Miss Lynn lowered her voice and said, “For her to teach her children, there are even some wealthy families who treat her with great courtesy. She has even given dancing lessons to the children of the Hunts and the Smiths…”

Nora scoffed slightly as she listened to Miss Lynn’s explanation. It turned out that this woman named Whitney did know what she was doing.

No wonder she had the guts to try to settle the matter with money in a kindergarten like that.

People in the arts usually have pretty high ideals. She must have formed an exaggerated opinion of her abilities, thanks to the flattery of the other parents.

Nora looked down and said slowly, “Miss Lynn, I’ll get someone more professional than her to judge whether Cherry is fit to dance or not.”

Whitney was wearing exquisite makeup. By this time, she had also put on her leather coat and shoes, which made her look exceptionally elegant. When she heard what Nora said, she scoffed, “We’ll wait and see, then. However, until you find someone more professional than me, Cheryl Smith won’t be able to attend my dance classes!”

After saying this, he took Sinead’s hand and turned to leave.

However, as soon as she turned around, someone grabbed her pigtail. Then, her shoulder was grabbed and a great force threw her against the wall next to her!

Boom!

In front of Whitney was an icy wall. Her hair was still being pulled and her shoulder was still being held. She could not move at all. Furious, she demanded, “What are you doing?”

A low, soft voice came slowly from behind her. “Mrs. Lowe, shouldn’t you apologize to my daughter after bullying her?”

Cherry was naughty and would never allow anyone to give her the cold shoulder.

Nor would Nora allow her daughter to suffer any aggravation without cause.

Whitney shouted, “No way!”

As soon as she did, Nora pulled her hair down hard again, making her scalp sting terribly. As if she was simply speaking a truth, the woman’s voice was calm and peaceful as she said, “Apologize.”

There was a murderous look in her icy eyes.

Whitney shuddered. She swallowed hard and clenched her fists tightly. Finally, as if humiliated, she said, “I’m sorry.”

Yawnnn….

Nora released her and yawned again. Only then did she pick Cherry up again and lazily walked out of the dance studio.

As she left, a furious Whitney screamed hysterically, “I’m going to call the police! How dare you assault me! I’m going to have you thrown in jail.”

Miss Lynn and the others finally recovered from the sudden turn of events.

At that moment, the Principal also arrived very late. Hearing Whitney, he grabbed her arm and said, “Ms. Lowe, we are all people with respectable identities here. Besides, we have no idea who that lady is. We have been specially instructed by the bigwigs to treat her with respect…”

The bigwigs…

Whitney clenched her fists tightly and breathed heavily as a look of intense fury appeared on her face. However, she stopped clamoring to call the police.

In the jeep on the way home.

Cherry sat in the passenger seat and buckled herself in. The big seat made her look even smaller than she was. She asked, “Mom, are you really going to ask Aunt Tanya to come back to the States for me?”

Nora raised her eyebrows. “No way.”

Cherry was puzzled.

Aunt Tanya loved to dance. She had also participated in competitions and had been crowned champion on other occasions. She had immediately thought of her when Mom said she would find someone more professional just now.

However, was Mom really saying that she wasn’t asking her to come back?

Amid Cherry’s puzzlement, Nora laughed and said, “Your Aunt Tanya is going back to the States next week. She’s been invited to a dance conference as an examiner.”

Cherry was immediately enthusiastic. “So that’s it!”

While the two were conversing, they had already returned to the Anderson residence.

After parking the car and entering the house, Sheril approached with a smile and said, “Nora, I have successfully produced the Rest Pill according to your formula! We can finally start mass production.”

Nora nodded. “Oh.”

Sheril was about to say something else when Melissa approached with a smile. “All right, you may have accomplished something great, Sheril, but don’t forget the trivial matters now.”

Trivial matters?noveldrama

A puzzled Nora looked at Sheril, who smiled and said, “I have dance class later, Nora. Can you come with me? We’re going to ask the choreographer to choreograph for us. We can perform it together during the dance party.”

Nora didn’t want to go. She wanted to go upstairs to sleep, so she replied, “No, that…”.

“Come on, let’s go!” Sheril pulled Nora by the arm and yelled, “Mom, take care of Cherry, okay?”

“…”

An absolutely listless Nora was then dragged out the door!

But before she was dragged out of the door, she saw the kind expression on Melissa’s countenance and found herself unable to refuse her kindness again.

Forget it, she’ll just go.

On the way, Sheril asked her, “Do you know how to dance, Nora?”

Nora thought a moment before answering, “Just a little, but I don’t dance often.”

Perhaps because she spent more time sleeping than the others, she preferred to engage in more stimulating activities when she was awake, such as running, skiing, and martial arts.

As for dancing, the only dance she enjoyed was tango.

However, since she practiced martial arts, her strength was too great. There was basically no man who could suppress his aura, so he stopped dancing.

Sheril smiled and said, “It’s okay. We’ll just do some moves casually. It’s okay even if you don’t dance during the party.”

After Nora left, Cherry dutifully went to the studio with her cell phone, intending to spend the next two hours playing games and doing a live broadcast.

As soon as the live broadcast began, she saw that her number one fan, Sponsor Grandpa, was already there. Cherry immediately greeted enthusiastically, “Hi, Sponsor Grandpa!”.

Grandfather Sponsor replied relatively slowly, “Hi.”

Cherry said, “I’ll be playing as the heroine herself today. Without Chesty causing trouble here today, I’m going to try to enter this season’s rankings on the local server!”

She turned on the game after speaking.

Then, a large number of notifications suddenly flashed across her screen!

Cherry was taken aback for a moment. Then, she saw that Grandfather Sponsor had given her a tip of 9,999 planes.

The Grandfather Sponsor wrote, “This is for you to buy candy, little friend.”

Cherry smiled sweetly and said, “Thank you, Grandpa!”.

After getting into the game and playing for a couple of minutes, she noticed that Sponsor Grandpa was arguing with some of the other viewers in the comments.

“Stop pretending you’re a girl, sweetcherry. That little girl voice of yours makes me want to puke. What little shame you have trying to appeal to the big sponsors like that!”

Sponsor Grandfather: “She’s a girl.”

“Haha, what idiot with a lot of money to spare is that Grandfather Sponsor of yours?”

“There must be something wrong with her brain, is there any child who plays that well? Sweetcherry is definitely a transvestite who uses a voice changer! If not, why doesn’t he dare turn on the camera?”

“…”

Cherry got angry, “Who says I don’t dare turn on the camera!”
